Who is eligible to participate in Facing the Fear?

If you are aged between 18 and 70 years, and experience symptoms of anxiety you are most likely eligible to take part in Facing the Fear. However project staff can advise whether this therapy program is appropriate for your particular circumstances.


Will Facing the Fear benefit me?

Facing the Fear is based on a treatment program that has been found to be effective in the treatment of a range of anxiety disorders. Individual results will vary from person to person, however research suggests that most people with a diagnosis of an anxiety disorder will benefit from this treatment.


How do I become involved in Facing the Fear?

The first step is to contact project staff (see contact us) who will provide you with further information about the program. Recruitment for Facing the Fear is currently open.


Is there a fee involved?

There is a small per person fee associated with participation in Facing the Fear, which is used to support the running of the program.


Where are sessions held?

Therapy sessions for Facing the Fear are held at the Griffith University Psychology Clinic, Mt Gravatt Campus. There is public transport to the campus, and free parking is available.
